I pride myself for being as human as possible and standing up for those who are incapable of doing so!
This evening after i got back from ikorodu and had my bath..
I was dressing up when i had the usual beating my neighbour’s wife dished out to the girl that lives with them! But this time i was even more interested in knowing what happened because I heard her youngest daughter which should be about 2yrs old saying “Oto” “Oto” meaning “it’s enough!”…..
I peeped through my window and saw her repeatedly using the edge of a plastic fan to hammer on the young girls head!
I could hear the Koi Koi Koi sound the fan made each Time it impacted her fragile head.. A girl of not more than 8yrs old!
I said nothing.. I went out.. Snapped the wound, and brought out my dettol in a bid to disinfect and wash the girls head which was already full of blood!!
She had already attempted to wash the head herself because i met a bowl of bloody water! Even as the woman passed her severally without showing any sign of remorse..
While i put the dettol in the bucket her second son came and froze with mouth agape! He was horrified at what he saw.. I charged him to get me water so i could effectively wash the head!
And at that moment the woman came and dragged the little girl inside and locked the door!
I immediately lost my temper and told the woman to provide the young girl!
The other neighbors hearing my voice rushed out and started asking what was happening cause.. I am the silent one in the hood! I showed them a pic of the bloody head and they were all shocked!
They forced the girl out and the lady started denying that she fell down..
Yes by all means i would have beaten some sense into her!
A crowd formed and i was forced into my house because I was already losing it!
She has since been insulting me.. But i am not in anyway moved! I did what every normal thinking person should do..
Y’all keep ur kids with you.. That friend that might be coming to take ur kid from the village to town might be evil!

Thank you Temi Tayo Robin for your intervention in this case. But you would have done more by making a report to the police for the arrest of the perpetrator of this crime instead of being forced into your house. Having the audacity to insult you means that the woman did not show any remorse for what she did, and she will repeat it. This child is not safe. We need more details about this information, like the address where it happened, the name of the woman as well as that of the child victim.
