Today is International Day of Charity also called World Charity Day. The United Nations designated the 5th of September, the anniversary of the death of mother Teresa to be commemorated as International Day of Charity. The commemoration is to be used to reward good deeds and encourage people to commit to charitable works for the benefit of the poor and overall good of the society.
